Ok, no, I didn't boot all over someone's freshly mowed grass, but I sure thought I was going to today! Today's run was a 7 min slow run, then 3 min of all out running, then 5 minute cool down running. I had to walk for about 30 seconds, which I consider to be a win, especially after that sprint. My timing couldn't have been shittier, as I somehow saved the 3 minute sprint run for the only uphill terrain I encountered. No more taking off into unknown neighborhoods, I'm going to have to stick to the flat main roads from now on. I hate running on the main road for fear that I look insane and people will spend the day telling others about "the weird redhead running down Pontiac today, looking like she was fleeing a predator."
I had a lot of hip pain after my first run, then a rest day. I'm hoping run #2 proves different and I won't limp around for the next 24 hours.

15 min, 3 intense, 10 slow. 30 seconds of walking.
